To whom it may concern, In 2010 my wife and I were contemplating a remodel of our 1950's era vacation home in the Upper Canyon neighborhood of Ruidoso, NM. We spoke with several contractors, whose conclusion was that a tear down and complete rebuild was our only available option. After a friends recommendation we contacted Mr. Mike Buechter of Alto Mesa Builders, Inc. After Mike looked at our project and discussed our desires he came up with the plan to remodel that fit our needs perfectly.

I must say that working with Mike, Andrew, Eric Ferguson, all the Alto Mesa personnel, and sub-contractors was outstanding. Living in San Antonio, TX, Mike kept us up to date on the project with phone calls, emails, and photographs. Eric Ferguson was our primary craftsman on the project and he is an absolute artist and a joy to work with.

At the end of the day, we now have our home exactly as we want it while saving several thousand dollars over the cost of a rebuild. I highly recommend Mike Buechter and Alto Mesa Builders for any project you may be considering. Feel free to give me a call if you may require further information.

“I have a hard time coming up with words strong enough to recommend Alto-Mesa Builders. They exceeded every expectation my wife Jan and I had in choosing someone to build our dream home. While living in El Paso, Texas, Alto Mesa Builders built us a custom home in Alto, New Mexico during 2012. It is, without a doubt, spectacular. With their input, it is everything we wanted in a custom home.

Andrew and Mike made it clear to us from the beginning they wanted us to be personally involved throughout the construction process. They communicated with us (email and telephone) on a regular basis and were readily available when we visited the construction site.

We found them to be professional and highly knowledgable from start to finish. Their craftsmanship is evident down to the smallest details.
